Celcius Technology is an airsoft gun manufacturer from Hong Kong which produces airsoft AEGs, Training Weapons, BBs and upgrade parts. Its main product is the Celcius Training Weapon (CTW), a high performance ultra realistic airsoft gun intended to be used in airsoft games as well as in law enforcement and military training. According to its own advertising campaigns, the company designed its CTW in order to compete with the well established training weapon manufacturer Systema Engineering from Japan. In reality all Celcius did was copy Systema's design in its entirety.

The beginnings of Celcius Technology are tied with the military industry and repair and upgrade service for BB guns and airsoft replicas. In 2004 Celcius Technology started to modernize its workshops to achieve a worldwide service capability in 2007. The Celcius Training Weapon was introduced in 2009, which was a copy of Systema's PTW 2007 series. Due to the increasing demand of its products among the airsoft community worldwide, the company opened a European branch with authorized dealers and service centres[1] in almost all European Union member states and Switzerland.[2] In 2010 the company sponsored the film Charlie Tango Whiskey, made with the help of the Agencja Mienia Wojskowego (Polish Military Property Agency), a Polish military institution supervised by the Polish Ministry of Defence.[3]
In 2009 the company released its airsoft training weapon, a M4A1 carbine-based airsoft gun replica, marketed as the Celcius Training Weapon (CTW). This replica was created as a response to a growing demand for highest quality airsoft replicas in the professional training sector. Because the replica's weight and size are identical to their real counterparts, the user has the possibility to conduct realistic training and to use accessories and optics made with military specifications. The CTW was designed in order to compete with Japan-based Systema Engineering airsoft training weapons - the Professional Training Weapon (PTW, which it copied) range, and feature replaceable cylinders, electronic control units and realistic weapon disassembly. Since then the CTW is for sell across several major airsoft stores around the world[4][5][6] joining other older well-established airsoft brands that are widely known among the airsoft community. For this purpose Celcius licensed several official service centres and authorized dealers for the international market in such different places like Poland, Spain and the United States of America.
